Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an ICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity care for critically ill cardiac and surgical patients. You will manage complex hemodynamics, ventilators, and life-support monitoring, delivering evidence-based care.

In this fast-paced role, you will collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and maintain precise clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and ICU or CVICU experience.

Providing high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill cardiac and surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care by managing complex hemodynamics, ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and advanced cardiac monitoring.
• Perform rapid assessment and initiate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN with experience in ICU and/or Cardiovascular Intensive Care.
• Strong proficiency in critical hemodynamic management and use of life-support and monitoring systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment.
• Excellent communication, patient education, and documentation skills.
