Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an RN to join the inpatient cardiac telemetry and neuro step-down services in Illinois. You will deliver specialized nursing care, monitor vitals, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: active Illinois RN license, CPR, ACLS and NIHSS certifications within specified timeframes, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience. BSN preferred; ASN accepted with BSN planned within five years.

Qualifications

Job description

Position: RN – Cardiac Telemetry / Neuro Step Down

Responsibilities: Provide specialized inpatient nursing care for cardiac and neuro patients, monitor patient vitals, administer treatments, and ensure patient safety. Utilize advanced skills such as ACLS and NIHSS certifications to support critical cases. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and promote recovery.

Qualifications: Must hold a current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and obtain ACLS and NIHSS certifications within specified timeframes. Requires at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience. Education requirement includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with an Associate Degree acceptable if followed by a Bachelor’s within five years.

Skills: Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in telemetry or neuro/ cardiac units is preferred.

Key Duties: Deliver nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, respond effectively to emergencies, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team. Maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards, and support hospital protocols for patient safety and care quality.
