Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center The Heart Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses across acute inpatient/MedSurg, Float Pool, ER/FSED, CVICU, Women’s Services and Surgical Services to support our patient-centered care teams.

You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team, using established nursing models and advocating for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; an Associates or BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas or Multi-State Compact with Texas licensure within 90 days.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients.
• Apply nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation using established models.
• Provide professional nursing care with independent judgment and collaboration with care teams.
• Demonstrate leadership by coordinating with ancillary staff to maintain nursing standards.
