Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a PRN Night shift Registered Nurse for the Bremen Emergency Unit at The Community Hospital of Bremen in Bremen, IN. The RN will deliver professional nursing services, assess patient needs, and implement care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, prioritizing care by acuity, and timely reporting to leadership. Candidates should be licensed in Indiana and pursue BSN or specialty certification within 5

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Within 5 years of employment as an RN, obtain a BSN or certification in your area of specialty.

• Provide professional nursing services in the area of assignment, assess needs, initiate and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with other staff to deliver compassionate, quality care.
• Report to Director/Manager and clock in within 30 minutes of being called for urgent needs.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity, resources, and needs.
• Support peers’ development, role modeling, and precepting when appropriate.
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure optimal care and outcomes.

Beacon Health System is hiring a PRN Night shift Registered Nurse for our Bremen Emergency Unit at The Community Hospital of Bremen in Bremen, IN.

The RN Emergency Response Team (ERT) role supports departments that do not typically operate 24/7 and require rapid-response clinical coverage for emergency procedures or urgent patient care situations. Associates must be able to report to the facility and clock in within 30 minutes of being called.

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll bring a high level of knowledge and competency in performing nursing care procedures, assessments, treatment, and techniques and your advanced analytical skills are necessary to solve complex problems and make decisions related to patient care. You demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, visitors, physicians, and others. You demonstrate the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. You have an understanding of the need to be responsive and reasonably adaptable for scheduling purposes, when necessary, due to extenuating circumstances in support of co-workers and department functions.
