Beacon Granger is specially designed to streamline emergency care and treatment for patients. The facility contains an 16‑bed emergency department with sophisticated imaging and diagnostic equipment, as well as eight in‑patient beds. The inpatient medical unit is available for times when patients have illnesses that require overnight stays or observation care.
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you’ll report to the Director or Manager to provide professional nursing services in the area of assignment, assess the needs of patients and initiate care plans, and implement and evaluate individualized plans of care. You will collaborate with other professional, clinical, and ancillary staff in providing compassionate and quality care to patients.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll bring a high level of knowledge and competency in performing nursing care procedures, assessments, treatment, and techniques. Your advanced analytical skills are necessary to solve complex problems and make decisions related to patient care. You demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, visitors, physicians, and others. You demonstrate the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. You have an understanding of the need to be responsive and reasonably adaptable for scheduling purposes, when necessary, due to extenuating circumstances in support of co‑workers and department functions.
