NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse, Breast Imaging for NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time day-shift role focuses on providing nursing care and coordinating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, NYS RN license, and BLS certification. One year Med/Surg experience is preferred; Procedure/OR experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing care for assigned patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Document patient assessments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Promote patient safety and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team; escalate when needed.
• Establish caring relationships with staff, patients, families.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapy per policy, including blood.
• Set priorities for patient care and coordinate responsibilities.
• Provide patient/family education and assist discharge planning.
• Demonstrate nursing knowledge across physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria.
• Demonstrate professional practice and growth accountability.

• Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, including blood administration.
• Establish priorities for patient care delivery and use critical thinking skills to coordinate and complete patient care responsibilities.
• Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning, considering readiness and barriers.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Experience:

• One year Med/Surg experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in NYS
