NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is a full-service teaching hospital and Level I trauma center located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse, Breast Imaging (Procedure/OR experience required).

The Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing care and patient outcomes for a designated group of patients, using the nursing process in collaboration with the health team. The role emphasizes safety, education, and high-quality care.

Formación

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Current NYS RN license.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties aligned with the organization's mission and values.
• Maintains accountability for own professional practice and growth.
• Documents patient assessments, reassessments, progress toward goals, and required records accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality, including adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with the health care team, escalating situations as needed.
• Establishes caring relationships with staff, patients, families and other team members.
• Administers medications and parenteral therapy per policy and procedure, including blood administration.
• Establishes priorities for patient care and coordinates tasks independently or with appropriate delegation.
• Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide nursing care across physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria.
