Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in NY (RN-NYS).
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
• Procedure/OR experience required.

Responsabilités

• Documents patient assessment, reassessment, progress toward goals, and all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality in line with National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and escalates situations appropriately.
• Establishes caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other team members.
• Administers medications and parenteral therapy per policy, including blood administration.
• Sets priorities for patient care and coordinates/executes responsibilities independently or with delegation.
• Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide nursing care across physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria.
