Cox Medical Center Branson is seeking a dedicated ICU nurse for the night shift in Branson, Missouri. The ICU team delivers fast-paced, specialized care to critically ill patients, collaborating with experienced educators and mentors to advance clinical skills and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri is required.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a high‑tech, continuously monitored ICU setting.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment (e.g., ventilators, hemodynamic monitors) and interpret data to guide treatment.
• Assess patient condition, perform diagnostic tests, initiate treatments, and assist physicians with procedures.
• Support teamwork, compassionate patient/family interactions, and ongoing professional growth.

They assess the patient’s condition, perform diagnostic tests, begin treatments and assist doctors with any required medical procedures. The critical care nurse monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and records electronic displays; i.e. intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, etc.

$1.00 BSN pay
Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000
