Job summary

Cox Medical Center Branson is hiring a Registered Nurse for Med 100. You will manage patient care for medical and surgical patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and educate families. Front-loaded PTO and relocation support enhance the package.

Requirements include MO RN license and BLS within 90 days; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Rotating shift, 36 hours weekly, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate care.

Job Description

Overview of Unit/Department

Med 100 is a 21 bed Medical Unit with a population of CHF, COPD, Dialysis, wound care, and hospice patients. Patients have a longer length of stay on this unit so creating bonds with our patients is an amazing experience.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
