Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health unit. The RN will care for patients with diagnoses such as depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and detox populations, using the nursing process with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an active RN license. Acute care experience is preferred.

The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
