For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice.Program includes:Formal delivery of fundamental critical care nursing concepts and standards via foundational ECCO (Essentials of Critical Care Orientation from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN)) modules blended with in-person sessions utilizing case studies, gaming, simulation, and skills labsExposure to Sentara policies and evidence-based practice guidelines as recommended by the AACNHands-on experience in the intensive care unit alongside a trained nurse preceptorOpportunity to share your experiences/networking with peers in a safe, protected environmentA series of virtual professional development sessions with mentoring (optional for experienced nursesWe provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.
