Job summary

Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our inpatient psychiatry team. We provide an 80-bed hospital with adolescent and adult services, and a comprehensive benefits package along with a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral background a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required.
• First aid may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications accurately and maintain documentation.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
• Provide therapeutic, professional interaction with patients and staff.
