Job summary

Universal Health Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse for Granite Hills Hospital. The RN will coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adhering to nursing processes and standards of care.

New grads are welcome. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and orientation. The facility emphasizes evidence-based treatment and a patient-centered approach in a 120-bed setting serving the Milwaukee area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the WI State Board of Nursing or holds a Compact License.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training and Service Excellence Training within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care coordination and evaluation in collaboration with the health team.
• Prescribe and implement patient care plans according to nursing process and standards of care.
• Support orientation and ongoing training for new hires as part of the team.

Registered Nurse (RN) (7p-7:30a) -New Grads Welcomed!

All new hires MUST attend a full, 2 week orientation from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. With a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, our mission is to provide much needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing.

The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

Qualifications
