Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within a correctional facility in Wisconsin.

The role involves planning and delivering care, administering medications, and coordinating with practitioners and other medical staff. The position requires an active Wisconsin nursing license, BLS certification, and strong documentation skills, with duties spanning triage, data collection for CQI, and patient education while ensuring HIPAA

Formación

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided (in good standing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple medical services in a correctional setting.

Responsabilidades

• Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the practitioner.
• Check and record vital signs, blood glucose, weight, and other tests as appropriate.
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Record data for CQI and report reactions to treatments and medications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
• Oversee and delegate duties within the RN scope of practice; may cover shifts at multiple facilities.
