Incredible Health in Jackson, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health to join our inpatient/outpatient teams. Shift options include day and night; full-time, part-time and per diem roles.

Candidates should have a BSN or higher and an active RN license, with 1+ year in behavioral health and knowledge of psychotropic medications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including retirement and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support
