Job summary

Cell Staff is seeking a licensed RN for a Mental Health/Psych position across facilities in Maine. This full-time contract role offers 8 or 12 hour shifts, some weekends, and flexible scheduling based on facility needs.

The RN will perform screenings, triage, and mental health care, administer medications, and respond as first responder in emergencies. Prior RN experience required; licensure in good standing is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of employment.
• 1+ year of RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform health screenings and physical examinations.
• Triaging, assessing, and treating chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs.
• Administer medications and wound care as directed by medical staff.
• Serve as first responder in emergency and crisis situations.
• Carrying out general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, venipuncture, IVs, etc.

We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

RN Details

• Full Time Schedules
• Some weekends may be required
• 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
• Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

RN Duties

• Performing health screenings and physical examinations
• Triaging, assessing, and treating chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs
• Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations
• Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff
• Serving as first responder in emergency and crisis situations
• Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc.

RN Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• 1+ year of relevant Registered Nurse (RN) experience
