Job summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking Float Pool RNs for a 0.9 FTE, full-time night shift. Nurses will float across Med/Surg, Critical Care, and Family Birth Center, delivering compassionate care for all ages and adapting to changing unit needs.

The role requires Oregon RN licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months, with preferred certifications listed, and relocation support for external candidates.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
• BLS certification required upon start
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: CMSRN, PCCN, CCRN variants listed in ad

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary nursing support across Med/Surg, Critical Care, and Family Birth Center as part of Float Pool.
• Adapt to rapidly changing unit needs and move between assignments as required.
• Assess patient needs and facilitate efficient patient flow through the hospital system.
• Deliver holistic nursing care addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific requirements.

SalaryRange:$53.9900- $77.79

Shift Differentials:

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

For the Asante Three Rivers Medical Center’s Float Pool, we are looking for nurses who can deliver superb health care in a compassionate manner for infant through adult patients. With appropriate orientation, RN's will float to all Med/Surg units, Critical Care, and Family Birth Center. As a Float Pool RN at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide temporary assistance to nursing departments in need of short-term help
• Respond to rapidly changing needs of a unit, intervene providing temporary assistance and move on to the next assignment
• Assess status and facilitate the efficient movement of patients through the hospital system
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care based on symptoms, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age specific needs
• Identify present and anticipate future learning needs of patient, family, and staff to include providing information on illness prevention, health maintenance and the disease process, medications, etc.

Position Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• 3 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Critical Care experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Must obtain within 6 months of hire:

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support

• PCCN: Progressive Care Certified Nurse
• CCRN-A: Certified Critical Care RN - Adults
• CCRN-P: Critical Care RN - Pediatrics

• RN-BC: Medical Surgical Nurse RN Board Certified
• RNC-NIC: RN Certified Neonatal Intensive Case
• RNC-OB: RN Certified Inpatient Obstetrics Nurse
