Job description

Location: Center Twp Medical Neighborhood, 79 Wagner Road, Suite 101
Work Hours: 10 Days/80 hours per pay period

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure; 1-2 years Operating Room, Procedure Room experience; BLS
• 1. Analytical ability necessary to make sure that procedures/operations are completed ensuring maximum nursing care/support is rendered to the patient, the operating room staff, anesthesia staff and the surgeons at all times.
• 2. The interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients/families, surgeons and to cooperate with the other nurses and administration in the delivery of patient care.
• 3. Emotional/mental ability to perform effectively and efficiently under daily pressure of stressful or emergency situations.
• 4. Physical ability necessary for almost constant standing, walking, and lifting. A high level of stamina also necessary for the frequent transportation of patients and the carrying of supplies and equipment.

PREFERRED

• ACLS Certification, PALS if applicable, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
