Job summary

Asante is seeking a Neuro/Ortho RN for the 1st shift in Medford, OR. The role is a 0.90 FTE, full-time position with day shift patterns. Compensation aligns with a salary range and offers relocation assistance for external candidates.

You will support Neuro/Ortho units with patient care, pursue orthopedic and stroke certifications, and mentor nursing students and new graduates.

Qualifications

• RN license in Oregon (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS certification required upon start
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Neuro/Ortho experience preferred
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Experience in an acute patient care environment preferred

Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79

Shift Differentials

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

The Neuroscience and Orthopedics unit is made up of a 34 bed Neuro/Ortho and Total Joint Replacement Program Unit. RN to patient ratios for both units are 1:4 -1:5 on day shift and 1:5 – 1:6 on night shift.

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

• SCRN: Stroke Certified Registered Nurse
• CNRN: Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse
• CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
• ONC: Orthopedic Nursing Certified
