Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Antepartum unit. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the patient care team, and promote safe, compassionate patient care while supporting families.

The role requires ACLS within 6 months, Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days, and EFM certification within 1 year. A nursing license and a BSN/ASN degree are required. This is a full-time, 12-hour shift position with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (C-EFM) Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RN must be registered nurse with applicable state license.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process with critical thinking to deliver safe patient care.
• Collaborate with patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with patients and families.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Work Schedule - Full-time, 12-hour Days/Weekends Rotate (.90)

What you will do in your role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
• You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (C-EFM) Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
