Registered Nurse - Ambulatory - School Based - Lincoln Park Middle School - Full Time - Days

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates with the health care team.
• Demonstrates clinical competence.
• May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.
• Seeks to understand and incorporate both safe practices and evidence-based practices into daily nursing care.
• Directs and delegates nursing care based on patient acuity and staff competency that is consistent with the nurse’s obligation to provide optimum patient care.

Lincoln Park Health Center located in the Lincoln Park Middle School: 2800 Lafayette Blvd, Lincoln Park, MI 48146
Day Shift- no weekends, no holidays
Hours 7am-3:30p, 7:30a-4:00pm, 8:00am-4:30p

Serve middle school patients and community pediatric patients

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
