Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care within Elliot Neurology Associates and Elliot Hospital. This full-time role supports patients and families through the nursing process, emphasizes ethical practice, and collaborates with an interprofessional team.

The position follows a 4-week schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on quality outcomes and patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and professional practice.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates the plan to patient, family, and colleagues for seamless care across shifts and settings.
• Uses current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and identify areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice with sound clinical decision making and critical thinking.

Position Summary - Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm, (4-day work week)

Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

• Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.

Education/Experience/Licensure

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure: New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
• Technical Certification: Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
