Elliot Neurology Associates, a department of Elliot Hospital within Elliot Health System, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a neurology setting. The role emphasizes the nursing process, patient/family collaboration, and adherence to interprofessional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• NH RN license or Compact state RN license.
• BLS qualification during orientation; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients and families using the nursing process for basic to complex needs.
• Creates a therapeutic, caring environment for patients and families.
• Practices in line with the Elliot Hospital interprofessional model and Nursing Code of Ethics.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning; communicates plan of care to patient/family and colleagues for seamless care.
• Uses current evidence and standards to guide practice and identify areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice with strong clinical decision making and critical thinking.
