Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking an Ambulatory Infusion RN in Pensacola, FL. The role involves day shift, full-time hours, and patient-centered care coordination in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

You will implement care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary care, and manage discharge planning in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team. A Florida RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required prior to hire.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of acute care bedside experience preferred.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
