Job summary

UVMMC is seeking an Infusion Nurse in Ambulatory Oncology to provide chemotherapy and biologic therapies to adult patients. Responsibilities include IV access, administration of treatments, monitoring for adverse effects, and coordinating care.

The role supports clinical trials, conducts patient education, and performs comprehensive assessments. This is a part-time day/evening shift at the Burlington campus with weekend rotations per contract.

Unit Description: The Infusion Nurse in Ambulatory Oncology provides chemotherapy and biologic therapies to adult patients with complex illness. Key aspects of this direct-care role include insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters; establishing access via utilizing implanted devices; administration of systemic chemotherapy and biotherapies; supporting the infusion patient who is participating in clinical trials; and comprehensive patient assessment and education.

On-call : Not required

Incentives: Weekend differential included per contract when working weekend shifts.
