36 hours/week; Start/end times vary. Rotating Saturday Coverage.
The office is open Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am – 10:00 am.
Provides clinical leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care in the ambulatory hematology oncology setting. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document comprehensive care and patient/family education. Communicates pertinent clinical information to the interdisciplinary healthcare team and actively participates in identifying and implementing solutions to optimize patient outcomes.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. If holding an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), candidate must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of the start date and complete the degree within 5 years of the start date.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting, with demonstrated competency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation.
Advanced clinical knowledge in oncology and hematology nursing; strong analytical and critical thinking abilities; proficiency in developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans; excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams; ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced ambulatory environment; demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
