Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ is seeking a registered nurse to provide telephone and in-office triage, assess patient symptoms, and support clinical decision-making with physicians. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and document activities in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with active NJ RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience assessing patient concerns in a clinical setting (in-person, phone, or electronic communication).
• Ability to evaluate patient symptoms and elevate clinical issues appropriately.
• Ability to review and identify abnormal or critical laboratory values.
• BSN preferred.
• Prior endocrinology experience preferred.
• Experience with patient follow-up, in-basket management, or outbound patient communication.
• Knowledge of diabetes and endocrine conditions (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disorders).
