Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Practice Clinical Supervisor (RN) for the Endocrinology service in Morristown, NJ. The role demands strong leadership, staff supervision, and adherence to ambulatory care standards in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will hold NJ RN licensure, a BSN preferred, and have 2+ years in ambulatory care. Knowledge of diabetes/endocrine conditions and EPIC EMR experience are advantageous. Competitive benefits offered with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New Jersey is required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years’ ambulatory clinical practice preferred
• Management or supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with diabetes and endocrine conditions recommended
• Knowledge of diabetes medications, including insulin therapies, is advantageous
• Experience with EPIC Ambulatory EMR desirable

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patients, plan care, and evaluate outcomes; acts as expert resource for team
• Directs and supervises clinical performance, guiding and motivating staff
• Monitors quality dashboards, identifies care gaps, and organizes action plans
• Supervises clinical scheduling and coverage; manages daily patient care assignments
• Documents per AH policy and monitors medication administration; reports adverse effects
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new staff; conducts competency evaluations
• Organizes regular emergency drills and ensures safety compliance
• Facilitates practice huddles; communicates with team members and physicians
• Supports shared governance and evidence-based care; promotes a healing culture
• Pursues ongoing professional development and aligns with AH PRIDE values
• Performs additional duties per operational needs and RN scope
