Job summary

Elliot Endocrinology Associates, part of Elliot Health System, is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered endocrine care in a Monday–Friday setting with a 8a–5p schedule. You will work within a collaborative interprofessional model to support patients with diabetes, thyroid, and other hormone disorders.

Our team includes Board Certified Endocrinologists, a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Educators, and Skilled Nursing staff; BLS is required on orientation with ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State RN license required.
• BLS certification required during orientation; ACLS preferred.

• Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning and communicates the plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
• Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.

About Us

At Elliot Endocrinology Associates, we provide specialized care in diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, and other hormone conditions. Our goal is to provide expert endocrinology care in a patient-centered, compassionate setting. Our staff includes Board Certified Endocrinologists, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Educators, Registered nurse, and Certified Medical Assistants.

Position Summary - Practice is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm

Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

Education/Experience/Licensure

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.


• Licensure: New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.


• Technical Certification: Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
