Join Henry Ford Health's Ambulatory Endocrinology team as a Registered Nurse. You will lead care coordination, develop and implement individualized nursing plans, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a Michigan RN license, BLS or ACLS, and at least 1 year of ambulatory experience. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience (preferably in an ambulatory/clinic setting).
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
  • Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans that address each patient’s unique endocrinology needs.
  • Provide expert patient and family education, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Delegate, supervise, and document patient care with precision and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in endocrinology specialty practice.
  • Work independently and in collaboration with principal investigators when appropriate.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm (some flexibility if needed). No weekends or holidays.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferably in an ambulatory/clinic setting.
