Job summary

Central Nursing Home in Chicago, IL is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care-focused team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will monitor and document resident conditions, administer medications, collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, and supervise CNAs.

The role offers 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shifts with Next Day Pay, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth in a team-driven environment. Illinois RN license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• CPR/BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in SNF/LTC.
• Calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and a strong team player.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting resident conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborating with physicians, DON/ADON, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervising CNAs and providing clear guidance.
• Responding promptly to resident needs and changes in condition.
• Supporting families with updates and compassionate communication.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Helping improve processes for resident safety and care quality.
