Job summary

Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking an RN for a full‑time Behavioral Health unit position on a 12‑hour shift (7:00pm–7:00am). You will work in a collaborative team focused on quality patient care and clear communication.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and at least one year of acute nursing experience, with strong teamwork and commitment to growth. Onboarding and preceptors are provided to support success.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license active in the appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One year of acute nursing experience preferred for behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care on a Behavioral Health unit.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience

One year of acute nursing experience required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• -Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
