Job summary

ARC is seeking a Registered Nurse in Kentucky to join a dynamic, team-oriented program focused on recovery from substance abuse. The RN will ensure safety and well-being of clients as they progress through rehabilitation, conduct nursing assessments, manage medications, and educate on health topics.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, professional interaction with staff and clients, and collaboration with physicians and case managers within a supportive care system.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky.
• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients.
• Manage medications and train staff on dispensing medications.
• Ensure Universal Precautions in the center.
• Facilitate health education groups (general health & medication interactions).
• Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow prescribed treatment.
• Coordinate with the Doctor to implement protocols.
• Protect client privacy per policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and Case Manager.
• Adapt to schedule changes and assist with duties beyond the description.
