Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift from 7p to 7a in Georgia. The role requires active GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification, with a BSN preferred and at least two years of RN experience.

Additional certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) are desirable for unit-specific requirements. Color vision acuity may be required depending on the unit. Weekend work is required; on-call is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of RN experience preferred.
• ACLs/PALS/NRP or other unit certifications preferred.
• Visual color acuity may be required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing


• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree


• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).


• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
