Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team. This on-site role provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, while adhering to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Georgia RN license in good standing, and BLS certification. Weekend rotation and night shift duties may apply depending on department needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

7pm - 7:30am
