Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT to provide holistic, quality care within a designated unit. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and ensure cost-effective patient care while maintaining patient and family satisfaction.

The role requires CT RN licensing, a BSN, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience; experience in Women’s Health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• BSN required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• One year nursing experience required
• Experience in Women’s Health desired

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, quality nursing care for patients/families within a unit or service.
• Apply the nursing process within the organization’s Framework for Professional Practice.
• Delegate and supervise care as appropriate; report to Unit Manager.

Job Summary

Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care. Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization’s Framework for Professional Practice. Functions as clinically competent. Delegates and supervises work appropriately. Reports to Unit Manager.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.


• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required).


• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.


• One year nursing experience required


• Experience in Women's Health desired
