Loyola Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Rehab Unit (Gottlieb Memorial Hospital). This part-time, rotating-shift role focuses on high-quality care for adults 18+ with stroke, neuro, transplant, orthopedic and cardiac conditions.

Expect diverse cases, short stays, and opportunities to connect with patients on their road to recovery. The unit emphasizes teamwork, self-scheduling, and ongoing education, with a nurse residency program for new grads and tuition/certification

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN)
• BLS certification required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
• 1 year of experience preferred (new grads welcome)

Responsibilities

• Provide care on an Acute Rehab Unit with diverse diagnoses including stroke, neuro, transplant, orthopedic and cardiac patients aged 18+
• Monitor patient progress and document accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust care
• Support patient education and discharge planning

Join our team as we seek a Registered Nurse to work on our Acute Rehab Unit. 20 bed Certified Acute Rehab Facility specializing in Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, Cardiac and complicated Med Surg patients ages 18 and older. The average length of stay for patients is 2-3 weeks offering the opportunity to connect and build relationships with patients on their road to recovery.

Compensation:

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
