Qualifications

• Graduation from a professional nursing program is required.
• Current RN license in Nebraska is required.
• BLS certification is required (AHA/ARC/Military Training Network).

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly rounding, bedside shift report and discharge phone calls consistently when applicable.
• Collects comprehensive data including physical, functional, psychosocial, emotional cognitive and cultural assessment.
• Develops a plan of care and implements it with documentation of relevant data.
• Evaluates patient responses and progress toward outcomes and facilitates transition to next level of care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, providers and others in nursing care and education.
