Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare in Tomball, Texas, is seeking a PRN Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse. In this role, you will assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients while managing the Rehabilitation Unit's personnel and resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• 1-year of clinical Rehab experience as a licensed RN required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Manage personnel, supplies, and equipment for the Rehabilitation Unit.

Join HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball as a PRN Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.
• You will be responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit and managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• You will participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
• Instruct patients/families regarding the disease process.
• You will be responsible for additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit.
• You will participate in weekly patient care conferences, as needed.
• You will assume the responsibility of charging the unit, as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current BLS Certification are required.
• 1-year of clinical Rehab experience as a licensed RN required.
