Job summary

Prisma Health's Facility Resource Pool in Tuomey (Sumter, SC) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction and direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting. You will apply evidence-based nursing practices, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This position requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), SC RN licensure, and at least two years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses - Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and multidisciplinary team.
• Identifies nursing priorities for patient plan of care and updates as condition changes.
• Delivers care in compliance with policy, safety, and quality standards.
• Floats to various nursing units as needed and adheres to on-call expectations.
