Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care per policies and standards. You will support the healthcare team, oversee staff, and uphold Service Excellence.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS (or PALS/NRP as required). BSN preferred with acute care experience. Pre-employment assessments may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
