Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent inpatient care in accordance with hospital policies and patient-centered care principles. The RN will support the healthcare team, supervise staff as needed, and uphold service excellence standards; Nevada RN licensure and BLS required, with PALS/NRP per department.

BSN preferred; 1 year acute care full-time or 3 years part-time experience preferred; pre-employment assessment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS certification required; PALS or NRP as department requires.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with policies.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision.
