Job summary

Astria Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Unit at Astria Toppenish Hospital in Toppenish, WA. This 12-hour night shift position offers a chance to provide high-quality care in a rural hospital setting and to collaborate with a dedicated care team.

You will evaluate patient needs, educate families, document progress, coordinate with the team, and ensure orders are carried out accurately while maintaining safety and compassion for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN Washington State license.
• Current BLS
• ACLS – within 3 months of hire
• ENCP or PALS – within 6 months of hire
• TNCC – within 1 year of hire
• Oral and written fluency in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and initiating appropriate care plans based on established standards.
• Providing patient and family education to support recovery and engagement in the care process.
• Regularly assessing and documenting patient progress and responses to interventions.
• Coordinating care activities with other members of the healthcare team.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient execution of physicians' orders.
• Timely communication of adverse or sudden changes in patient condition.
• Recognizing and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Effectively managing patient pain and utilizing blood products as necessary.
• Safely and effectively utilizing patient care equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
• Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
