Job summary

The Valley Health System seeks an RN to provide safe, competent nursing care at Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility with emergency services, maternity, NICU, pediatric care, and cardiovascular services. You will lead the healthcare team and uphold Patient Centered Care as the foundation of nursing practice.

Licensed RN in Nevada with current BLS; ACLS/PALS or NRP as required by department. BSN preferred; pre-employment assessment will be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
