Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando in Minneola, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, coordinate care, and document outcomes in the medical record.

This full-time day-shift position requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, BLS, and at least one year in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

RN required with Florida license and BLS CPR.
1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.
Must be fluent in English with solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families; collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care.
Document care activities accurately in the medical record and ensure infection control.
Provide emotional support and supervise care delivery by team members.
Respond to code situations promptly and participate in improvement activities.
