Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our corporate float pool across adult in-patient units. Roles require flexibility to float to facilities as determined by the Corporate Staffing Office.

Eligible candidates will have 1 year of acute care RN experience, Florida RN licensure or valid eNLC license, and current BLS. ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC vary by patient population. We offer FT and PT shifts with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care RN experience required.
• Maintains current Florida RN license or eNLC multi-state license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop/revise individualized care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Maintain patient safety and a respectful environment for patients and families.
• Communicate patient condition and unit concerns to the care team.
• Ensure age-specific care and continuous education for patients and families.
