Job summary

Beacon Health Options is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Department on a PRN night schedule (7PM–7:30AM). The role involves direct nursing care per policies and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, coordinating orders, and supporting discharge planning with the care team. Licensure and BLS must be current or obtained within the specified onboarding period.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from Michigan Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

• Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

• Schedule PRN - Night - PRN Rotating; 7PM - 7:30AM; 7PM - 7:30AM

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
