Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, Illinois. The role involves holistic nursing care for incarcerated patients and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team under the DON and Nursing Supervisor.

Shifts include FT salary starting at $49.68/hr and PRN at $44.71/hr plus a $4 shift differential. Candidate must have an RN license (or be able to obtain one) and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.

PRN Salary: $44.71/hr. plus $4 shift differential

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
