Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a registered nurse for night shift (7 PM–7 AM) in the 7 West unit. You will apply the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, and coordinate care to meet each patient’s developmental needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Delegate tasks appropriately according to job description and competency.

Hiring Range:

$37.51 - $81.95

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

I. Major Responsibilities:

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

• 1. Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• 2. BLS is a requirement for every RN unless advance cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.

Preferred

• 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.
